1) Learning to be comfortable with being uncomfortable
2) Learning to ride forward
3) Learning to allow an exuberant horse an outlet. Knowing how to guide them to come back without shutting them down or trapping them in a box
4) Learning how to use inside leg to outside rein
5) Learning to make the horse take responsibility
6) Learning to steer by controlling the outside shoulder of the horse, not the inside rein
7) Learning to be actively relaxed around and on top of horses (i.e. mentally and physically aware and ready to take action, yet fully soft and relaxed as to not create negative energy)
